siti x conoscere ragazze Orlando Pecchenino is the new chairman of the chatt per incontri Consorzio di Tutela del Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani. His election shows a desire for continuity: Pecchenino takes over from Pietro Ratti (Renato Ratti), under whom he was deputy chairman along with Aldo Vacca, director of Produttori Barbaresco, for three years. A 54 year-old winegrower from Dogliani, the Consortium's new chairman is called upon to lead over 500 member estates, representing an area of approximately 9,000 hectares of vineyards, much of which acknowledged as UNESCO World Heritage, and production of over 60 million bottles.
Pecchenino also represents a territory and an appellation, Dogliani: "My election - says the new chairman - shows both a desire for continuity of the work carried out up to now by Pietro Ratti and for the growth of the whole of the Langhe. Maximum protection of Barolo and Barbaresco which, thanks to the ability and professionalism of the producers, have made this territory great and drawn a considerable amount of attention to the development and growth of its other wines".
The Board of Directors will soon be elected and will hold office until spring 2019.
The commitments of the new chairman include the third edition of Grandi Langhe Docg, from 2 to 4 April 2017. The event will draw hundreds of buyers and professional operators from all over the world to Langa, Roero and Dogliani.
